Workforce Development
Manpower directly engages with our associates to learn about their transferable skills so that we can connect those skills with employers who need them. When we identify skill gaps, we offer unlimited access to Manpower’s powerYOU, a free, on-demand learning center with hundreds of work-related courses, such as: standard computer-based applications, communication, leadership, and advanced Information Technology (IT).
Community Involvement
At the heart of every community are employers and workers. Manpower brings them together for mutual benefit, actively contributing to making our communities more sustainable. Our staff is encouraged to be active in both professional and personal capacities.
We proudly support organizations such as Golden Apple Foundation, Goodwill, Hope Haven, Northern Illinois Food Bank, Rockford Public Schools, Rockford Rescue Mission, Rock River Valley YMCA, Severson Dells, Sycamore Public Schools, and Voluntary Action Center-Northern Illinois.
